Gemtree Citrine Chardonnay 2005
Fermented partly in oak and partially in stainless steel this wine has a deliciously well-balanced complexity, with a pale straw colour, bright citrusy and fresh zesty lemon peel aromas. It is soft and full-flavoured, yet it retains a delicious tightness and lemony elegance from the crisp stainless steel fermented fruit, while fine touches of toasty oak fruit linger on the palate. A really superb drinker in the garden this summer.
